POPE HEAD is a dark comedic drama exploring the life, art, sexuality, psyche and philosophies of the great 20^th century artist, Francis Bacon.

Caught wearing his mother’s stockings and banished from the family home, we follow the struggle of the young artist who eventually finds that success goes hand-in-hand with tragedy when you are determined to live life to the full.

Bacon famously proclaimed; “Champagne for my real friends. Real pain for my sham friends”.
